http://www.xyngular.com/lrivera

Happy Birthday Xyngular!

A short two years ago we opened for business with a dream to improve lives by helping people improve their health and by allowing them to be successful. We knew we would be successful if we found people who had the same desire.
With our Distributors seeing fantastic levels of success through our compensation plan, and earning the Sundance Headquarter retreat, a 50K Getaway cruise in May, our first Executive Retreat to the beautiful Atlantis Resort in Dubai, Xyngfling in Nashville, XYNGFEST in Las Vegas, and Xyngfete in Phoenix under our belt, I can't wait to see what we can do for people in our third year.

At Xyngular, we have two goals.

1. One is to build a company that allows our Distributors to be paid for their efforts and reward them for doing the things that build their business: Learning about our products, telling others about the products and/or opportunity, helping people in their organization be successful, and developing their own leadership skills.

2. The second goal has been, from the very beginning, to build the company to last. Everything we do is for the long term. Our two guiding principles are: a. What is in the best long term interest of our Distributors b. What is in the best long term interest of Xyngular Adhering to these two principles resulted in products that make a profound difference in people's lives, a compensation plan that is both lucrative for our Distributors and develops leadership, ensured that Xyngular was profitable by our second month in business, and guarantees that Xyngular is both built to succeed now and will still be growing in 2 years, 5 years, 15 years, 25 years, and beyond.

Xyngular's Compensation Plan has been specifically tailored to give our Distributors the greatest potential to build wealth and achieve success. Without structural or title requirements and with our Global Sales Pools, you truly have the opportunity to change lives and to share in the global expansion of this great company.

Xyngular has already helped thousands of people achieve financial success. In the last 12 months we have sent commission checks totaling millions of dollars; we have sold thousands of products, and we have changed tens of thousands of lives for the better.

In our second year of business, many of you reached goals you never thought you could reach and did things you had only dreamed of (and, many of you told me, some you didn't think to dream of!).

I am so proud of our Distributors, our leaders, and our staff because each of you genuinely care about the good of others, are interested in helping people improve their health and their finances, and, by doing so, are reaching your own dreams and goals. We truly are One Team and One Dream here at Xyngular. I want to say Happy Holidays to all my friends and have a great 2012.

How to start now rich and free future?

How to start now rich and free future?

The good news is that it starts in your mind. Start with your words, your thoughts and your actions, every day, without exception. Start by making a record of where you spend your time and with whom you pass.

Starts knowing what to do to make your plan a reality, to build a bridge from where you are above the muddy waters of your dreams.

The best movie snacks for your new XYNGULAR waistline

At this holiday season we can each make a resolve to add to the collective "peace on earth and goodwill toward men."

This year, when we're with family and friends, we can decide to listen, and really observe with our hearts, without critical thoughts of how they "should be" or "could be" better. We can commit to connecting with them...free from the past or the path they have chosen to learn from. We can recognize that they, like us, want to feel better about themselves. They want to be acknowledged and cared for.

Life teaches each of us how to succeed in different ways. Some do it by how they look. Others are more concerned about what they have. Some succeed by what they know and can share. Still others seek for attention by how they suffer.

We can give something especially precious this year. It's a gift that will probably last much longer than the physical gifts we give each other. And we may be surprised to see it multiply and grow through the years. It's simply slowing down, listening, and appreciating where each person is in his or her journey through life.

We can forgive whatever happened in the past...large or small. We can stop ruminating over mistakes we or others have made. Even simple things matter, like wearing the wrong outfit, eating a little too much, or not paying attention to something WE think is really important.

As bestselling author Holly Riley said, "Perhaps the most loving gift we could ever give our family, neighborhood, or our planet is freedom from our criticism, overt or covert! We can add JOY to the world simply by taking responsibility for the quality of our thoughts and the power of our attention."

Our thoughts do matter...especially during the holidays. They contribute to the collective holiday spirit all of us hope for at this special season.

This year let's give a gift to each person we meet. It could be our most amazing and life-changing gift. Yet it costs so very little. It's understanding and compassion. Let us each resolve to look at our family and friends through a filter that screens out the criticism and sees only the individual and his or her potential. Let us see people who are trying in their own way to find their place in the world.

Our caring is the most valuable gift we can give this year or any year. And we can share it with everyone. It will make a huge difference in our collective "peace on earth and goodwill toward men."

"You can have whatever success you want...but only if you help others get what they want"

Before I started my Xyngular program was taking take 2 pills of 150 mg of Zantac (an antacid) every day, and my menstrual cycle had been gone for 6 months.

I said to myself, "no more," I want to make a change in my life. My health was being affected, and I saw so many testimonies from others. I decide to use the IGNITE™ Fat Burning System.

When I started IGNITE my body began to regulate itself. Now I no longer depend on the antacid, and my menstrual cycle is happening every month. I lost 35 pounds and 4 inches off my waist in 4 months and a half. I'm so happy for that! After seeing these results in myself, I decided to start helping others.

My business has grown simply by sharing my testimony with people. To do that I have had to change my physical appearance, which has been so noticeable, and my health has improved so much.

I have been with Xyngular since June 13, 2011. Thanks to God, I have impacted many lives, and I have shared this message... "there is hope for you too if you decide to change your life."

Here's my advice for new Distributors who are trying to achieve success.

The moment you decide you want to impact lives, you should move forward and do it, because you really are going to help those people. If you're helping people, the money will come. The confidence you project, how you educate yourself about the products, and sharing how they have impacted your life makes all the difference. At Xyngular you can have all the success that you desire, but the key is to help others.

Thank you XYNGULAR!

Before quitting your job

The desire for freedom will give you the courage to operate for years without a secure job and a paycheck on time.

Money can not buy happiness

Money can not buy happiness

This statement has some truth. However, what is money if you buy the time to do what I love and paid others to do what I hate doing.

If you don't ask, you won't receive

If you've ever wondered what to give for Christmas Gifts, you might appreciate when family members actually come right out and ASK for certain things or at least hint that they would like them.

Asking is an important skill for getting what you want out of life. The Bible suggests that if we ask we shall receive.

Jim Rohn tells it this way, "You may be a good worker, but you've got to do better than work hard. You will wind up broke and embarrassed.
You've also got to be a good asker." There is power in learning how to ask. Asking starts the process of receiving. It starts the emotional anticipation and the mental machinery that will help you think of ways to make it all happen.

Look back over the year 2011. Could you truthfully say to yourself, "I went to work every day and worked hard, but nowhere did I write down what I really wanted out of last year's efforts"? If so, you're probably a good worker, but a poor asker.

Success is available for the taking if you'll learn to ask. But ask specifically without embarrassment. Ask for things in enough specifics so your mind and emotions can go to work on getting them. Answer the questions..."when, where, how big, how much, what model, and what color?"

Also be sure to ask, "what for?" What is the reason for your specific goal? What do you want it to make of you or to help you become?

Finally ask with real faith. Children are our examples in this. They really believe that they'll get what they ask for. In asking, we all need to become more childlike. By asking in the right way for the right reasons you'll get what you want and even more.

ACTION STEPS:
1. Practice some asking in the next few weeks. Make it part of your goal setting, your New Years Resolutions, and your end-of-year self-evaluation.

2. Get together with your team and learn to ask for what you want as a team. Write it down. Talk about childlike faith.

The best movie snacks for your new XYNGULAR waistline

The movies are one of the greatest past times...especially during the holidays. They're great for families, dates, and nights out with friends. But tempting movie snacks create a huge calorie overload.

It's not the outrageous price of the popcorn that's the biggest concern...it's the nutritional sabotage we should worry about.
You can take a tip from grandma and pack your own snacks or choose something that's not quite so bad for you at the concessions.

Eat before you go
It's a smart idea to have your meal before you head to the theater. At least have a LEAN Shake or your XYNG.

Pack your big purse
Pack an apple and a bag of pre-popped light or low-fat popcorn. Throw in some string cheese for protein. Grab a bottle of water. It's easy to mistake hunger for thirst, and water will keep you distracted long enough to get into the movie and forget any hunger. If you must have chocolate at every movie, pack a small bag of dark chocolate chips for only 80 calories for 1/4 of a cup. You'll even get some ORAC points with it!

Choose wisely at the concession stand
Soft pretzels are some of the healthiest options at the movies. Weighing in at 290 calories, they're a small meal, but they're probably fat free and low in fat. Popcorn, on the other hand, loads you up with as much as 600 calories and about 40 grams of fat.

If you must have chocolate, a half box of Junior Mints at 170 calories and 3 grams of fat works better than those bars at 240 or more calories and tons more fat. Make sure to share though or you'll have 340 calories. Little fruity snacks are lower in calories to, and have no fat. One serving has less than 200 calories. There are only 20 pieces in a serving, so share.

Swap soda for water
Pass on that usual vat of soda and choose a bottle of water instead. Having water keeps you busy, and less likely to feel you need a soda.

Head to the movies with a full tummy, and you'll have greater willpower for healthier choices. Bring your own snacks, and you'll have the best of everything! And enjoy the movie.

ACTION STEPS:
1. Shop ahead for movie treats you can take in a big purse.

2. Eat before you go.

"I am pain free at last"

I spent three of the past seven years taking care of my mom during her final illness. A year after her passing, I was rear ended at a red light by a flatbed tow truck. This left me with a neck fusion, back problems, a closed-head injury, and a lot of anxiety. I was unable to take care of myself and my family. That was the worst part for me...feeling helpless.

So I started to OD on food, and it was slowly destroying my body inside and out. I was gaining so much weight.

I decided I needed to get out of the house with all the pain I was living with every day and start to try to live again.

Last summer I ran into an old friend, and he told me about the Xyngular® products. I started using XYNG™, and within 2 weeks I was down 17 pounds. Then I did 2 rounds of IGNITE™ and continued to use the products afterwards. Today I am down a total of 62 pounds. I am pain free, my closed-head injury symptoms are gone, and I'm off my meds. I am taking care of myself and my family again.

Thank you XYNGULAR!

6 Little-Used Secrets for Breaking the Ice

Your success at Xyngular will largely depend on how well you can manage those first few seconds of a call to a friend where you bring up Xyngular for the first time. We call it the "icebreaker."
The outcome of the conversation will depend on a number of factors beyond the things you actually say: Your attitude, your enthusiasm level, your natural expressions of genuine interest; are all considerations you've probably already considered. They're easy to overlook, however, on a busy day when you're trying to get your calls in.

But here are 6 ice breaker ideas that are often overlooked as you launch your conversations.

Secret #1: Be natural
It's easy to unconsciously slip into "sales-speak" that sounds contrived and unnatural to your prospects. You won't know you're doing it. So ask a friend or family member to listen in on some of your calls and let you know if you're sounding too "canned," too "needy," or too unnatural, especially in the first few seconds of the conversation.

Secret #2: Shift gears smoothly
Don't try shifting too quickly from your introductory "Hi" to "can we make an appointment." It's like going from first gear to second and third. Your conversation may "stall" if you miss a gear.
Your first gear is your icebreaker that sets the stage and creates or renews a relationship of trust. You want to say enough before they speak up to let them know who you are and why they may be interested in what you have to say.

Peter Mingils, a well-known trainer in the industry who coaches professional networkers teaches that the more you tell in those first 20 -40 seconds of a call with people you don't know very well, the more people will trust you, and the better will be your results. He calls it the "icebreaker." His "script" involves letting people know that you talk to a lot of people every day and find them bright, sharp, and often entrepreneurial. You say that many of the people you talk to these days are interested in making a little more money, doing something better or different or maybe even working from home. Then you ask, "how about you...are you interested in making extra money, doing something better or different, or maybe even working from home?" This lets them know why you called and piques their interest if they are looking for something new. You establish a level of safety with them so they feel they can opening up a little and let you in on their goals.

When they agree to open up, you move into the second gear, which is building more rapport and finding commonality. You can ask about their present employment, their hobbies and recreation, and their family. This gives you clues about what they're like. You can briefly share with them things you have in common.
Then you can ask them, "so what motivated you to want to work from home (or whatever they said)?" This moves you to the third gear...setting an appointment or actually giving your Xyngular presentation right there.

Secret #3: Be only one level more enthusiastic than they are
Here's a secret that's easily violated because you can't just "be yourself." You have to have just one notch more energy than what they have. If you are too "over the top" for them, you'll come across as over-aggressive. If you're at their same level, you'll seem too casual.

Secret #4: Create a sense of urgency
Here's a secret that actually saves you time and gets you better results on almost all calls. Somewhere early in the conversation, mention an appointment or another pressing thing that you're about to do...even if it's an appointment to make your next call. This relaxes people and lets them know you're not going to be spending a lot of time with them.

Secret #5: Create scarcity
If they know that your schedule is really full but you have two 15-minute blocks left tomorrow evening at 7:15, or 8:45. They know you're not going to spend all night with them. You're efficient and probably trustworthy. And what you have to say isn't too overwhelming. When you get down to sharing products or the opportunity, you'll want some scarcity there too by offering limited-time specials or bonuses to get them to act right away. There's always some contest or Xyngular Passport goal you can volunteer to work with them to earn if they get started right away.

ACTION STEPS:
1. Make up a reminder card suggesting these tips that you post by your phone so you'll remember to try them.

2. Ask a friend to listen in on some of your calls and let you know if you're sounding too "canned," too "needy," or too unnatural.

December: It's Time to Get Up and Move

Get ahead of the January rush to the gym so you'll have great stories to tell when it's Resolution Time.

December, for many people, is the month that starts the slow drain of energy into winter. You know...the beginning of Seasonal Affected Disorder (SAD), better known as mild (not clinical) depression. The most widely accepted natural remedy for depression is exercise. And exercise with Xyngular...wow. How great is that!

There's tons of proof that regular exercise reduces stress, anxiety, and depression; boosts self-esteem, and improve sleep. It also strengthens the heart, builds energy levels, lowers blood pressure, helps weight loss, and helps you look better.

What types of exercise are best for depression?
Studies confirm that virtually any form of exercise can help depression. Just don't overdo it. Injury is depressing.

Do I need to check with my doctor first?
Most people can start a program without checking with their healthcare providers. However, those with a medical condition (such as diabetes or heart disease) and people who rarely exercise may want to check with their healthcare provider before starting a program.

Think about these questions to pick the best exercise for you
• What's worked best for me in the past?
• Have I needed a workout buddy to motivate me? What types of exercise work best for that?
• What fits my schedule...especially during the holidays?
• What physical realities limit my choices?
• What exercise is fun for me? What exercise is a chore?
• What are my goals? (For example, weight loss, less body fat, better flexibility, or mood improvement)

How often? How long?
Most experts agree that at least 20 to 30 minutes, three times a week is minimal. Current studies demonstrate that four or five times a week is better.

How much should spend?
Exercise that puts too much of a strain on your wallet won't last for long. Avoid expensive equipment or gym memberships unless you know you'll use them regularly over time. How depressing to give up one month into a year-long membership you paid for by credit card.

What about pain?
There's a normal "burn," mild soreness, and with a day of expected recovery; and then there's pain. Never ignore pain. If you experience pain...rest. You may damage to your joints and muscles if you exercise through severe pain.
If your pain is still there two hours after exercising, you have done too much and need to lower your levels. If pain persists or is severe, or you think you've injured yourself, talk to your doctor right away.

ACTION STEPS:
1. Put together a December exercise program for yourself and post it on Facebook. Your friends will be more likely to join you in January for a real Xyngular challenge.

2. Invite your team to join you. Pick an exercise buddy if that works for you.

3. Talk exercise at holiday parties and family gatherings. It will get people thinking.

The Trip of a Lifetime... Comments on the Executive Trip to Dubai

"The Executive Trip to Dubai was literally life-changing"
It was fantastic to see Xyngular leaders treating each other like family. The trip reinforced to everyone the fact that what we are doing at Xyngular will change the world for generations to come. We are looking forward to the trip next year and encourage all our Xyngular Distributors to set a goal to get here! Marc Walker, President

"They care so much about getting to know the Distributors"
One of the best experiences my wife Kari and I had and enjoyed the most was traveling with Marc Walker and Glen Oliver once again! It just tells me how much they care about the distributors and being able to get to know them.
It's exciting to catch a vision of what this company is going to create in the next 40 or 50 years.
Dr. Troy McHenry

"Xyngular has once again exceeded all that we ever expected"
The Xyngular Passport Program is absolutely the best incentive program in the entire industry...period!
My goal for next year in Dubai is to have a minimum of 5 couples from my team living this spectacular experience!

Why there's so much turnover in Network Marketing and what Xyngular is doing to boost retention

Dr. Charles King, the University of Chicago professor who a major advocate for Network Marketing in business, teaches that "the major reason there is so much turnover in network marketing is because we allow the upline to train the downline." The new Distributor sponsors a friend 15 minutes or 15 days after joining herself. Is she going to do the training? Probably not. That's a recipe for disaster. The odds are that the people who come in that way will fail unless there's a better plan.

Many distributors in our industry complain, "my upline is always too busy for me." There are lots of good people who join the industry and leave just as quickly because there are no leaders to train them.
That's why Xyngular has extensive training in building its business with 3-way calls and team training and accountability. We're not just in the recruiting business. We're also very much in the training business.

If you're working with a new Distributor and you have an opportunity to SHOW her how to do the business or simply TELL her how, which would you choose? Always go for the SHOW. Don't simply tell people to go into their back office and find something...get online with them and SHOW them. Don't just tell them how to make contacts. Get on a 3-way with them and SHOW them.

The best Distributors seldom work alone. They always have someone with them showing them how. If you have listened to our training calls, you'll notice that every effective leader in Xyngular has plenty of up-and-coming team mates they're mentoring and showing how to work the business. They have them on calls to share their testimonial. They spend time "moving in with them" as Stan Townsend says, and demonstrating how to do the prospecting and follow-up.

When you're training a new Distributor, don't just tell them to fill out their 100-name list...tell them to grab a piece of paper and start writing. Get a stop watch and see how many names they can write in one minute. If you have a team, the worst thing you could be doing is prospecting alone. You have duplication to do.

One of the biggest failings of many network marketing companies is that their distributors are constantly recruiting without a sense of obligation to those they bring in. That's why Xyngular makes such a huge point of creating "one team...one dream," working crossline with anyone and everyone who wants to build.

Everyone we bring into our team needs to feel like they're privileged to become part of your Xyngular family. They're not there just to make you a lot of money. They're there to become a great friend. You want them to feel obligated to work with you because of your bond and your relationship. You want them to feel like they could never quit because you have invested so much in them. You'll never accomplish this by leaving them to build on their own. You're a team, and you're building this business together.

You don't want to train your new Distributors by working their leads all the time...doing the work for them. Let them listen in while you do your prospecting and follow-up. That sets a better example. Then they'll feel more obligated to show you that they're working their own leads with their people and duplicating what you've done with them. You're exposing them to the real ups and downs of the business...the slumps and challenges as well as the successes.

You can introduce your contacts to the Distributor you're training. That shows that you really work with your people to get them well trained. You'll say, "If you decide to do something with us, you'll be training all your new people this same way...step by step...by the numbers." You can even take some pressure off your prospect by saying, "If you decide to do something with us or not, it doesn't matter because I'm training my new guy. There's no pressure one way or the other." This also lets your new Distributor know how valuable she is to you. If there is really a possibility for her to make a huge income in this business, you'll learn it right away if you do this kind of hands-on training.

If you're going to work hard anyway, why not work with someone else all the time and train them as you go. You'll find yourself going on fewer tangents. You'll find yourself showing greater confidence. Your conversations will quickly become more natural. Your new recruit will feel less pressure to be perfect at first because she'll hear you making a few errors here and there. You'll develop habits of greater discipline and higher energy when everything you do involves training someone else the right way.

You can even get a free conference call line and do some calls with three or four at a time showing with your own contacts and follow-up calls how you perform the basic functions of prospecting, follow-up and presenting.
When you have invested this kind of effort into helping your people, your best people will feel the same obligation to help their people and your business will explode with duplication and independent leaders.

When you recruit someone, tell them there's the Xyngular way and there's the way all the other companies do it. The Xyngular way is to work together. If you can't always work with your new recruits, tell them you'll try to arrange for them to work with someone in your upline. That will keep your upline on their toes and help spread the Xyngular way of retaining and training.

Refuse to waste your time or the time of your new recruits TELLING them how to grow their business. SHOW them. You'll find that the time you spend working with someone else is multiplied many times over for both of you.

ACTION STEPS:
1. Plan your schedule with someone in your upline or your downline to always maximize your time working with someone else.

2. As part of your accountability reporting, set goals to work together with someone as many hours as you possibly can.

3. Prepare a story of how much more effective you are when you work with someone than when you work alone.

Protein and Insulin Sensitivity Why is Xyngular's weight loss program helping with so many health challenges?

Have you noticed that Xyngular's weight loss program is amazingly effective for diabetics and for many people with a wide array of degenerative diseases? Why is this?

It's all about insulin. Insulin seems to be a common denominator in just about every degenerative disease that is on the rise in our society these days. And Xyngular's weight loss system minimizes the flood of insulin that causes so much destruction in the body. Excessive insulin not only turns your body into a fat-storing machine. It also ages you and plays havoc with virtually all your body systems. High insulin levels are even associated with many forms of cancer.

You've noticed that the Xyngular IGNITE™ program encourages giving your insulin production a rest by offering protein-only days rotated with protein/carb days.

Protein is an essential nutrient. It is an important building block that your body requires to repair damage and replenish enzymes. While protein is extremely important, it can't be used as your primary fuel source all the time. Your body can use protein very well as a fuel source. It's great for weight loss because it's an inefficient fuel source. But you must have good, healthy carbohydrates with plenty of natural fiber along with protein to give your body the energy it needs while you control the excessive insulin production.

Protein is very thermogenic, meaning it produces a lot of heat as it breaks down. This means that less of it is going into stored energy and more is being lost through the process. When you're trying to lose weight, your primary fuel should be from your stored fat. Using a larger percentage of protein for a few days turns your body into a fat-burning machine.
How much protein does a normal, healthy adult need in order to keep insulin from taking over? It can range anywhere from two to four grams of protein per pound of lean body mass, maybe even a little bit higher if you're really active. You don't want to go under your protein requirement for very long. It is better to go over than to go under.

Your level of insulin sensitivity is going to determine, in a large measure, how long you are going to live and how healthy you will be. It determines the rate at which you age more than anything else we know. Xyngular's weight management program is showing you how to make insulin control an ongoing part of your life.

The more you work with your Xyngular weight maintenance program, the more you will recognize ways your body is benefitting from the types of portion-controlled, balanced meals recommended by Jim Ayres. You'll come to enjoy more meals centered around high fiber vegetables and fruits balanced with proteins. It's a great way to not only lose and maintain your weight but to benefit just about every health marker there is:
• Emotional and brain health
• Cardiovascular health
• Bone and joint health
• Vision
• Digestive health
• Immunity to disease
• Hormonal health
• Respiratory health

ACTION STEPS:
1. Start watching for news in the media about excessive insulin. You'll start seeing more of it. Then you can talk about it in casual conversations about how our products work.

2. Watch for people who have any of the issues at the end of the article. Ask them what they know about insulin overload and its dangerous consequences. Share this article with them.

Advice from the Winners of Our Xyngular iPad Competition

"I can't wait to see who the next person is that I get to help to change their life"

I believe it was because I shared my weight loss results with everyone that I was able to succeed in sponsoring 11 new Distributors during the iPad promotion. With such a successful personal weight loss story and explaining how easy it was, I was able to really attract new customers and Distributors.

I have been in Xyngular for two months. My first month I reached first level Manager, and this month I plan to reach Gold Manager!
In 8 days I lost 9 pounds and 4 inches off my waist. In six weeks I dropped 4 pant sizes. In 60 days I was down 17 pounds and lost 13 1/2 inches off my body. I love these products, and I have a true passion about them! I think it shows when I tell others!

The best advice I can give new Distributors is to get your story started, share with others, and not pre-judge who would "want" them or be able to "afford" them! I had to believe in the products first, and now I can't wait to see who the next person is that I get to help to change their life.
Amy Troutner

"Facebook is my primary marketing tool"
I have had an amazing support system from my Xyngular sponsors, Tina and Tommy Myers who trained me and from Cynthia Evans and her team who have been very helpful. I try to get on her calls whenever I can.

I use Facebook as my primary marketing tool. I post my results which generate interest in the products. I have lost 18 pounds since October 24th. My husband started on Monday, November 28th. He lost 6.6 pounds in 2 days! The dramatic results are so appealing to people.

Whenever someone asks about the products, I email them my Xyngular site and tell them to click on products and then click on the first picture of the products to watch the product overview. I get their cell number and a good time to call them so we can customize a package to meet their specific needs.

I started taking the Xyngular products on October 24, 2011. I have lost 18 pounds. I didn't intend to sponsor a lot of people. My primary interest was losing weight. When people ask about "my secret," it was easy to guide them to my website and then follow-up with them. With such amazing results, the products sell themselves.
I would tell new Distributors to never get discouraged or quit. It takes time to build your downline. If you get a "no" at first, move on. Typically people will continue to monitor your success and will commit when the time is right for them.

Why you can grow a larger business in December than any month of the year

Experienced Xyngular Distributors who work the holidays find that they can be some of the most important and lucrative times of the year...if you work them in the right way.

While it's true that during the holiday season many people are going to be out shopping, it's also true that more people are going to be home with family. Fewer people will be out of doors recreating for the simple reason that there are fewer daylight hours. More people are taking vacation time through the holidays and they're more relaxed, especially between the holidays. Many of them have no place to send their children during the day, so they're staying home with them.

They'll be more willing to take time to talk with you about an opportunity. Why? Because they know they're spending too much on presents, and they're going to need a way to pay it all off. They're thinking about spending, health, weight loss, and making a little extra money.

Plan to work your scheduled hours during those golden days surrounding the holidays, and you will find that December will become your most successful business month of the year for both recruiting and selling products.

A time to prepare for your January explosion
The holidays are also a great time for motivating and training your team both by example and by formal training. Don't try to do it all in one big extravaganza training. Just make plenty of contacts with your team through the holidays so they understand that the holidays are a time for 3-way calls and exploding their business.

It's always better to work with someone else during the holidays because it gets both of you focused on business at a time when it's easy to get distracted.

Even if your team mates are taking time off for holiday parties and family events, you want to keep them from losing their overall focus and momentum. If Xyngular is at least one of the things on the top of their minds during the holidays, they'll think of lots of great ways to bring up Xyngular in conversations at parties and make contacts for later appointments.
The holidays are a great time for gathering people's interests and needs. All the "how are you doing?" conversations can be extended to gather information about people's career, their industry, their job frustrations, their health concerns, their plans to lose weight, and their financial dreams for the future. A party may not be the best time to give your full Xyngular business presentation, but you can always say, "we need to get together and talk about this." Then make a note in your appointment book for a contact between the holidays prompted by this earlier conversation.

Find out about people's hopes and dreams. Then you can make a phone call later and ask, "When you talked about going on a cruise this next spring, were you serious or were you just kidding around?" Then you can say, "I think I have a way to make that happen sooner than you think." They'll be interested because it was their idea in the first place.
Once you start working the phones in January, you're going to want a long list of excuses to call people fast and furious. You're going to want to sound excited and busy with lots of appointments. That will attract more business than you will be able to handle alone, so you'll need a trained and prepared team ready to help you with lots of exciting stories.
You can see how the seeds you plant in December will bear abundant fruit during January's rush to lose the weight. So don't miss the harvest by not taking December seriously.

ACTION STEPS:
1. Get your December calendar or appointment book out and schedule time with your accountability partner or team mates to make lots of 3-way calls.

2. Schedule time throughout the month to make planned calls with your team members. Share ideas from this article.

3. Create your own spectacular December growth story that you can use in years to come to motivate your team mates who may have a tendency to think that December isn't a very good month to work their Xyngular business.

Simple ways Xyngular helps you stay well and healthy through the cold and flu season

The cold virus is the most common infectious disease in the world.
It accounts for more missed work and school than any other illness, and it's the top reason people visit their doctors -- even though doctors can't offer much help. A cold is actually a viral infection, which means if your doctor prescribes an antibiotic for your cold, it will be useless.

But because you are part of the Xyngular family, you have products for building your immune system and helping ward off this unwelcome seasonal intruder.

How Do You Catch a Cold?
The way most cold viruses are spread is not from others coughing or sneezing, but rather from hand-to-hand contact. Someone with a cold blows their nose then shakes your hand or swipes a banister or uses a pen you later handle.

However, if your immune system is operating at its peak, it will be much easier for your body to resist the virus. If your immune system isn't in good shape, you're inviting any virus that comes along to easily take hold in your body. So the easy answer is this, you catch a cold because your immune system isn't in good enough shape. Here's a short list of things that compromise your immune system.

1. Eating too many empty carbohydrates during the holidays instead of nutrient rich fruits and vegetables
2. Not getting enough rest
3. Excessive stress (a high holiday risk)
4. Vitamin deficiency

Vitamin Deficiency: Another Reason You May "Catch" a Cold
The average adult has two to four colds each year. Children may have as many as 12! Most of them happen during the winter months when fresh air and sunshine don't allow your body to create enough vitamin D. Some researchers believe that "catching" colds and flu may be a symptom of a vitamin deficiency weakening your immune response.

At Xyngular we have AXION™, a great sustained-release supplement with plenty of the goods that boost and strengthen your immune system.

In addition we have Super Fruit Global Blend™ and Xypstix™ with xanthones and aloe to load your body with antioxidants and immune-boosting benefits.

Excess weight makes cold symptoms much more disagreeable, so using Xyngular products to keep the weight down is another great way to prevent the aggravation of cold and flu symptoms.

Can You Help a Cold Go Away Faster?
Most regular colds last somewhere between eight and nine days. About 25 percent last two weeks, and 5-10 percent last as long as three weeks.

Doctors advise that as long as your temperature remains lower than 102 degrees Fahrenheit (38.9 degrees Celsius), you don't need to lower it with over-the-counter medications. In fact, over-the-counter cold medications can actually prolong your cold since they appear to lower the symptoms while they actually suppress the body's natural processes that sneeze, cough, and sweat the cold away as quickly as possible. Only use these medications when absolutely necessary.

Strategies to Kick a Cold
When you feel a cold or flu coming on, it's NOT the time to be loading in empty calories or sugary drinks and treats. Your immune system needs ramping up with extra Global Blend or Xypstix to help successfully combat an emerging infection.
Start by tweaking your diet and nutrition in favor of foods and supplements that will strengthen your immune response including:

• Fruits and vegetables...especially vegetables in your mother's homemade chicken soup. Make the soup with some extra pepper to help you sweat out the fever.
• An extra portion daily of Super Fruit Global Blend and Xypstix.
• Double up on AXION with all its whole-food extracts, vitamins, and extra ingredients with high ORAC scores.
• Make sure you are drinking plenty of water. Water is essential to optimize every system in your body and help your nose stuffiness. It will help loosen everything so your secretions will pass more quickly. Drink enough water so that your urine is a light, pale yellow.

Four More Cold-Busting Strategies
1. Get plenty of high-quality sleep
As the days lengthen into winter, make sure you're getting an extra measure of restful sleep to prevent a hostile viral takeover. Your immune system works best when you're not sleep-deprived. And the more rest you get, the quicker you'll recover from a cold.

2. Regular Exercise
Regular, safe exercise is an essential strategy for boosting your immune strength and your disease resistance. One study found that those who exercised five or more days a week cut their risk of having a cold by almost 50 percent. And if they did get a cold, their symptoms were less severe.

If you're already sick don't overdo the exercise and stress your body. If you're coming down with a cold, tone down your regular workout and take a walk instead. Raising your body temperature slightly with moderate exercise may be beneficial.

3. Lower Your Emotional Stress
Emotional stress can invite an infection and make cold symptoms worse. While you're recovering, schedule more restful, calming activities.

4. Wash Your Hands Sensibly
Washing your hands regularly but not excessively is the easiest ways to wipe out germs and viruses and reduce your chances of colds and flu. While recovering, washing your hands frequently keeps you from spreading your cold to others.

When to Call a Doctor
Avoid taking antibiotics for a simple cold or flu. However, if your cold isn't handled well, it can become a sinus, ear, and lung infection such as bronchitis and even pneumonia. These are bacterial infections that do respond to antibiotics. If you experience any of the following symptoms, you should call your doctor:

• Fever over 102 degrees Fahrenheit (38.9 degrees Celsius)
• Ear pain
• Pain around your eyes, especially with a green or yellow nasal discharge
• Shortness of breath or an uncontrollable, persistent cough
• Persistent coughing up green and yellow sputum

Generally, when you have a cold, you won't need medical care. If you take care of yourself with the above suggestions, you'll recover quickly and reduce your chances of catching another cold soon.

ACTION STEPS:
1. Share a series of short cold-prevention strategies on Facebook or in frequent emails to friends. Ask if they've heard about Global Blend, Xypstix, or AXION and how they help strengthen the immune system.
2. Build your own cold-prevention story for the year by following these guidelines and sharing how you prevented a cold or how you recovered more quickly than normal with the help of Xyngular products.

How to thrive in the changing seasons of life

As the year draws to a close and autumn turns to winter, the holidays sometimes encourage us contemplate what we have accomplished through the last year, and what can we expect from the next season and the next year.

Nature has given us a carefully balanced earth with its changing seasons. Our attitude determines how we adjust and take advantage of the seasons of life. We can take the resources of the earth and the time on this planet that we have and either develop it or destroy it.
By our attitude we decide what choices we will make and how we will react to the seasons. Our attitude determines the choices we make, and our choices decide our results. As Jim Rohn says, "In the cycles and seasons of life, attitude is everything!"

The weather and the seasons are the same for everyone, but it's our attitude that determines how well we use the advantages and challenges in each season. You can't change the weather or the seasons, but you can change yourself and how you adjust to and use the seasons.

Since winter is almost upon us, let's discuss how to handle the winters of our lives. Winters come regularly, every year in natural sequence. Some are long, others are short. Some are difficult, some are more mild, but they always arrive after autumn. That doesn't change.

Jim Rohn teaches that "There are all kinds of winters—the "winter" when you can't figure it out, the "winter" when everything seems to go haywire. There are economic winters, social winters and personal winters.
We move into a winter when we meet disappointment. No one goes through life without cycling through some disappointment. Just like we layer on more clothing and the animals put on their winter coats, so we learn how to develop emotional insulation so we can more easily handle the winters. We all must learn to handle difficulty. Just as a roller coaster goes down after it goes up, so discouragement always follows a great opportunity. Recessions follow expansions. That doesn't change.

The attitude question is this: What do you do about your winters? You can't get eliminate January by simply ripping it out of the calendar. But what you can do during the winters of your life is take time to contemplate, to get stronger, to learn more, and become better.

Jim Rohn said, "Before I understood this, I used to wish it were summer when it was winter. When things were difficult, I used to wish they were easy. I didn't know any better."

Then he received his famous answer that changed his philosophy of life and set him on the road to tremendous personal achievement. "Don't wish it were easier; wish you were better. Don't wish for fewer problems; wish for more skills. Don't wish for less challenge; wish for more wisdom."

That's what we do in the winters of our life. Just like farmer get out the seed catalogs, so we set goals, we dream big, we review the past and make new resolves, we evaluate and practice our skills, we get together with our team and learn to bond, trust, and enjoy each other more.

That's what the holidays and winter is for. It's for getting ready for tremendous spring planting. At Xyngular spring planting comes early because January is the month where the whole world thinks a lot about weight loss. So enjoy your holiday gatherings. Prepare your team for tremendous growth. Set your goals, plan your strategies, and the New Year will be your best year ever.

ACTION STEPS:
1. Plan now for the end of the year planning and goal-setting meetings with your team. You have an urgent January schedule to plan.
2. Sharpen your team's scripts and contacting skills with a few role-playing sessions. Get your contact lists written and your 3-way calls scheduled.
