Ninety-nine no's

One of the greatest advantages of our Xyngular® business is that no matter who you are or where you come from, the starting line is always in the same place. In this business education, experience, training and speaking ability have much less to do with success than other factors. On the starting line, we all invest in some products, and we go to work.

We all start at month one and shoot toward month 12. Is there any possible way to get to month 12 without passing through all the months in between one and 12? No. It can't be done. We are on a level playing field—everyone is equal when they start out.

The first time you talk to someone about Xyngular, you may feel uncomfortable and think you somehow messed up if they didn't join. That's okay. Not everyone will join you, nor will you want them to. Your job is simply to share the message and work the process. Think of it this way... You have achieved an important goal just by sharing the message. You should be proud of yourself.

Throughout our lives we have been taught to focus on results rather than the process. But at Xyngular that can be counter-productive. So here's a great way to guarantee our success here.

• We commit to working the business for one full year—a full 12 months.
• We try to get 99 people to say "no" to the Xyngular message during that year.
• We don't keep track of any results except the "no's."
• Once we have 99 "no's," statistics have proven that we will have a huge business.

What some people try to do is get 99 "yes's." As a result of their unreal expectations, when they get a few "no's" it devastates them, and they leave the business during those critical early months before they see the wonderful compounding effect of Xyngular's viral duplication.

We all need to get excited about the "no's." It's impossible to get enough people to say "yes" unless you have some who say "no." If you focus on getting your "no's," you will automatically see more and more people say "yes." It will become more and more difficult for you to get a "no." You will relax, gain confidence, and be patient about building your business according to proven systems.

Here's our goal...try to get 99 "no's" from people who have heard and seen the complete Xyngular message.
The motivating thing about working to get 99 "no's" is that by the time you get 30 or 40 of them, you really know what you're doing. You have made yourself a more sociable, fun individual. You have greater confidence. You start seeing the number of "no's" begin to decrease. With this greater confidence, you can go back over your list of "no's" and ask them if you can share the message with them again.

It's amazing to see this process begin to work. Beware of frustration at this point. You are legitimately working toward 99 "no's," and when what used to be "no's" start to turn into "yes's," you are going to have to talk to a lot more people to reach your goal. Many Distributors who have built large, successful businesses have never reached 99 "no's" because at some point they are just too successful at sending the message. They "know" too much.

That is all part of the magic of Xyngular. Don't be misled, success at Xyngular depends on your commitment to the simple, easy-to-duplicate process, not in your own personal achievements or results. If you get too hung up on gathering your "yes's," you may be misled into thinking you can get away with adjusting and changing the proven process to get better results.

Remember, you are trying to become "insignificant" in the process. You're trying to set the example for your people to believe in the simple process, not in you. They can't have too much admiration or belief in you or they will become overly dependent on you, and you will start becoming too significant. The minute they shift their allegiance to you rather than the process, you begin to fail. They have to maintain faith in the process.

Getting 99 "no's" keeps them thinking about the process and the simple, powerful Xyngular message—not themselves. That's where you want them to be.

ACTION STEPS:

1. Start a "99 no's" chart and keep score. Celebrate your score with your team. See who on your team can reach 99 legitimate no's first.

2. Keep track of your mood when you get your first no's. After a few weeks of keeping track of your no's, take your mood temperature again and see if you don't feel a lot more confident and self-assured about gathering no's.
